GRESIK, abahtindik.com– Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Provinsi Jawa Timur, bekerja sama dengan Diskominfo Kabupaten Gresik dan Dinas Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan, dan Perlindungan Anak (KBPPPA) Gresik, menyelenggarakan kegiatan Peningkatan Literasi Digital untuk Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Komunitas Pesisir. Acara ini berlangsung di Gedung Serba Guna Raden Paku, Manyar Sidorukun, Gresik, pada Kamis (11/9/2025).
Lenny Martarina, Ketua Tim Kerja Penyusunan Konten Media Diskominfo Jatim, menegaskan bahwa literasi digital merupakan kunci bagi perempuan dan masyarakat pesisir untuk meningkatkan produktivitas serta memperluas pemasaran produk lokal. “Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk mendorong pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya perempuan dan komunitas pesisir, agar lebih adaptif menghadapi era teknologi,” ujarnya.
Sebanyak 100 peserta yang terdiri dari kader PKK dan masyarakat nelayan Desa Manyar Sidorukun mendapatkan pembekalan terkait pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Materi yang diberikan mencakup penggunaan perangkat digital, cara mengakses informasi yang aman, etika bermedia sosial, hingga peluang ekonomi digital melalui pemasaran produk di platform daring.
Ahmad Dharief Dahlawy dari Dinas KBPPPA Gresik menekankan pentingnya kemampuan memilah informasi. “Kita tidak hanya dituntut bisa menggunakan gawai, tetapi juga harus mampu memilah informasi yang benar serta menjaga etika berinternet,” katanya.
Sementara itu, narasumber dari Diskominfo Gresik, Zurron Arifin, menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mendukung produktivitas nelayan. “Aplikasi digital dapat digunakan untuk memantau cuaca sebelum melaut, sekaligus mengintegrasikan hasil perikanan dengan UMKM lokal agar bisa dipasarkan melalui marketplace. Dengan begitu, nilai ekonomi masyarakat pesisir bisa meningkat,” jelasnya.
Kegiatan ini menjadi salah satu strategi Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur dalam mendorong literasi digital yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Dengan penguasaan keterampilan digital, perempuan dan komunitas pesisir diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi pengguna teknologi, tetapi juga pelaku ekonomi digital yang berdaya saing.
Melalui inisiatif ini, Desa Manyar Sidorukun di Gresik diproyeksikan menjadi contoh praktik baik pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis literasi digital di kawasan pesisir Jawa Timur.
